The IEOA Truck Light Convoy and Food Drive is on Saturday December 7, 2019

Food Donations

In honor of the hard work the convoy participants have invested to create this festive event please consider supporting one of these local food banks with a donation. We are collecting food along the route or you can donate online anytime. Please add "Truck Convoy" in the dedication to your donation to refer to the event.

Events to note along the IEOA convoy route


Ogden Point 211 Dallas Rd at Dock St
Look for the Mustard Seed tent with volunteers who will be accepting money and food donations for the Mustard Seed.

Cook Street Village 325 Cook Street (In front of Mercedes Lane Too store)
Block party on Cook Street! Santa will be there for photos, bring a non perishable food donation and join the festival from 4-7 pm. The Mustard Seed is onsite for food and money donations.

Oak Bay

Oak Bay Village Municipal Hall 2167 Oak Bay Avenue
A Public Works truck and The Mustard Seed will be set up in front of the Municipal Hall to receive food donations and issue receipts for cash donations. Enjoy music and treats in advance of the convoy.

Oak Bay Avenue
Volunteers will be collecting donations from the spectators along Oak Bay Avenue from Foul Bay Road to Monterey Avenue.

View Royal

Helmcken Road at Watkiss Way
The View Royal Fire Department will be collecting food across the crosswalk from the Helmcken Market, look for their fire truck and volunteers at the intersection.


Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre 1767 Island Highway
Colwood Fire Department will be collecting food donations. Look for the tent that will be set up by the Colwood Fire Dept. pickup truck. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available.

Sands Funeral Chapel 317 Goldstream Avenue
Look for the Emery Electric van parked at the Sands Funeral Chapel on Goldstream Ave. They will be collecting food and money donations and Sand's staff will have hot chocolate ready.

Veterans Memorial Park Aldwynd Road
The annual Langford Light up Celebration starts at 6 pm. Bring your food bank donation and enjoy entertainment, crafts, vendors, and snacks. Santa arrives for a visit at 6:30 pm with the light up at 7:30 pm and then the convoy passes by around 8 pm.

Western Speedway and All Fun Recreation 2207 Millstream Road
Admission to Western Speedway is by cash or non-perishable food donation. Look for the PacRim food collection truck parked at the admission gate and enjoy the trucks decorated in lights from the grandstands as the convoy arrives and parks.

After the trucks park the public is invited onto the race track where there is a food collection van parked beside the concession. Hot chocolate and hot dogs are offered by donation courtesy of Sysco, Thrifty Foods, and the Central Saanich Lions Club.
