Thanks to our Sponsorship Partners, our Participating Locations and the wonderful public who endured severe weather to watch and donate:
our IEOA 2009 Truck Light Parade collected approximately 10,000 lbs. of food donations.  Which was donated equally to the Mustard Seed Food Bank and the West Shore Service Clubs Christmas Hamper Society.

Thanks for making Christmas 2009 wonderful for those less fortunate.

Thank You For Your Wonderful Comments About Our
2009 IEOA Truck Light Parade:

We wanted to write to tell you how magnificent we thought the Parade was so much energy and creativity went into the amazing decorated trucks what a glorious sight they were, winding along Beach Drive and into the Village of Oak Bay -- we felt privileged to be able to see such a splendid sight.  We plan to write to the Mayors of the towns to say we think theParade should be advertised all over the Province and also nearby States as it should be recognized as a real asset to the city of Victoria.  You should all be very proud of what you achieved -- and we are grateful for the joy it brought to us.  Thank you and may all who participated have a blessed and happy holiday season.

The Truck Parade has gotten bigger and better.  The individuals who drive those rigs probably don’t realize how much they brighten people’s Christmas.  What an effort they put together every year – touching many hearts with their display.  My Christmas begins immediately following the parade.  To see the look on children’s faces as the trucks roll by and to feel the warmth and happiness inside every year is amazing.

Just a quick note to tell you that we really enjoyed the Truck parade Saturday night. Hats off to all the operators that took the time to decorate their trucks, they were fabulous. My sister-in-law really liked the cement truck with the decorated rolling drum. Keep up the tradition and great work!

THANKS FOR THE GREAT TRUCK PARADE WELL DONE

VICTORIA FAN

Great job on the parade!  It just gets better every year.

This is the 2nd year we have taken our 2 year old son to the parade.

He loves it!  Thanks for putting it on...you do a great job

Thank you, to everyone for organizing such a great parade . it was my first time ever participating in the parade and I had the best time. I am in  next year for sure , we all had such a great time. The crowds along side of the road were incredible and they enjoyed it so much too. Great job everyone , Thanks so much.

Thank you for another fantastic truck parade on Saturday.  We are amazed at how beautiful the trucks look and we very much appreciate the time and effort everyone puts in to make them so!  The parade is by far the highlight of the season.  We look forward to watching it every year.  We watch on Dallas Road and then hustle to town to see it again.

My wife and I completely enjoyed the parade.  We took our two boys to it and they had a blast, one is almost 3 and the other is 5mo old. Our 2 year old just kept giggling and making honking noises the whole time he  just loves trucks. It was a great parade thanks again.

Wow!  What a parade!!  Everything else in Victoria pales in comparison.  You have the true spirit of Christmas and giving, and you are so very much appreciated!!  Looking forward to next year already.
